About Kim T. Phetteplace, MA
Kim facilitates your embodied wholeness and gentle unfolding through holistic life coaching, expressive somatic modalities, co-creative dreamwork and intuitive art.
With a love of expressive movement since childhood, Kim has decades of experience bringing the benefits of creative process and somatic awareness to others. She has developed enriching creative, expressive and somatic experiences for a wide range of populations and ages. Building on her dance education, including a B.A. in Dance/Dance Therapy and training in various movement modalities, she is currently working toward credentialing as a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator.
Kim is a skilled holistic life coach having received certification through both Holistic Life Coach Institute and the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.). As a Certified HeartMath® Mentor, she honors the intelligence of the heart and integrates “deep heart” work into her offerings. Her deepest desire is to honor the sacred within the individual life and in relationship with the whole.

As the Principle Trainer for DreamStar Institute, Kim supports its mission of bringing forward the paradigm-shifting co-creative approach to dreamwork. Privileged to be under the mentorship of DreamStar’s founder, Dr. G. Scott Sparrow, for more than 20 years, Kim eventually became the first DSI Certified Dreamwork Practitioner. She is skilled in working with the FiveStar Method™, the co-creative dream analysis method developed by Dr. Sparrow. Kim's culminating M.A. project explored the agency of the sacred through this method of dream analysis integrated with expressive somatic practices. (See WhenDreamsDance.com and DreamStarInstitute.com) She integrates FiveStar Method dream analysis with holistic life coaching, and has also developed methods of bringing the FiveStar Method to walking the Labyrinth as a tandem spiritual practice.
Residing in La Crosse, WI, Kim enjoys sharing the wonder of life and beauty of nature with her loved ones, especially her partner and seven grandchildren. |
